Probes
The probes are an essential part of the DVG. These are the collectores of the data. Currently there are following different kind of probes:
- SNMP
- Binary (exec)
- Perl-Modules
- Dummy
SNMP

Binary
List of Binary probes are on the binary probes index page.
Perl-Module
List of Module probes are on the modul probes index page.
Dummy
Dummy Probes do not collect any data from the hosts. These probs are use to manipulate the data from other rrd-streams: like sums of link-usages.
